Art of Problem Solving

The Art of Problem Solving (AoPS) is an organization of mathematicians, scholars and educators with origins in MIT/Princeton/Harvard who have taught a complete generation of middle and high school students the essence of problem solving in general, and principles of mathematics in particular. AoPS trains students for Math contests and competitive events (MOEMS, AMC, MATHCOUNTS, other Olympiad events) for elementary, middle and high school. AoPS also helps avid students pursue a problem-solving based approach to acquiring a lasting understanding of mathematics. This is done through a breakthrough portfolio of affordable text books used by tens of thousands of students over the years. AoPS also offers online classes with personalized instruction by its exemplary faculty.
